Mt Albert Primary School has an  enrolment zone.  Any *eligible child can enrol at our school.   An enrolment pack can be obtained from the school office.

When enrolling a child Parents/Caregivers must bring: for a student starting school for the first time

  • child's birth certificate or passport
  • child's immunisation certificate

Where possible pre-enrol your five year old a year in advance.  This will enable the school to plan, prepare and staff appropriately for the number of five year old's starting at any given time.

To help your child settle into school, the school has a pre-entry programme available where your child will visit the classroom for one hour a week, two weeks prior to starting school. Contact the school office for more information.

All other students:
Parents with students who have already been enrolled in another New Zealand school can come to the school office and complete the school's enrolment form providing you are in the school zone.

Children whose parents are New Zealand citizens; children whose parents have residency; children whose parents are resident in NZ and have work permits and the child has a student visa.

Children who come from countries where there are reciprocal enrolment rights such as Australia or Pacific Island countries.

Students who have been excluded from a NZ school do not have the automatic right to enrol at this or any other school.
